As a Receiver/Stocker, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and prepare your area for daily operations. The role is physical and fast-paced, requiring safe lifting practices and attention to detail. Most of the shift is spent on your feet, with scheduling that may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight hours depending on store needs. You may also assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. The work includes unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, maintaining organized backrooms and shelves, completing dock preparation, and following safety and housekeeping procedures. In Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading orders, rotating them by delivery date, resolving order issues, communicating with customers, and following Delivery Readiness practices. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor environments and exposure to extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, as well as noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
