Warehouse Part Time Days
About The Position
As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, moving products to the sales floor, preparing the dock, and safely handling equipment and hazardous materials. You may also help customers locate or load products and, in Pro Fulfillment Stores, pick and stage flatbed delivery orders and support delivery readiness. The position is physical and fast-paced, with most of the shift spent on your feet. Work may involve varying schedules and indoor and outdoor conditions depending on store needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
- Follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
- Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
Nice To Haves
- Three months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
- Bilingual, military, or veteran background.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers, answer questions, and offer support during projects.
- Unload freight, stock merchandise, down-stock, organize shelves, and set up pallets.
- Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
- Operate store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, and balers, as needed.
- Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage flatbed delivery orders.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, load delivery orders accurately and safely, rotate them by delivery date, and resolve customer order issues.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, communicate proactively with customers about delivery satisfaction and follow Delivery Readiness best practices.
