As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and prepare your area for daily operations. The role is physical and fast-paced, with much of the shift spent on your feet. Work schedules may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight hours depending on store needs. You may also help customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. You will unload freight, move products to the sales floor, maintain organized backrooms and shelves, verify deliveries, prepare the dock, and use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. You will follow safety and housekeeping procedures, operate scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed, and help with other assigned tasks. In Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading orders accurately and safely, rotating orders by delivery date, resolving order issues, communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction, and following Delivery Readiness practices. This role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying weather and climates, and may involve noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
