About The Position
As a Receiver/Stocker, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, handling equipment and hazardous materials safely, moving products to the sales floor, and preparing the work area for daily operations. It is physical and fast-paced, with much of the shift spent on your feet and a need for safe lifting practices and attention to detail. Schedules may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight hours depending on store needs. Associates may also help customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. At Pro Fulfillment Stores, the position also involves picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading delivery orders accurately and safely, rotating orders by delivery date, resolving customer order issues, communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction, and following Delivery Readiness practices. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor weather, extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting limits and team-lift guidelines apply.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
- Bilingual, military, and veteran candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering project support.
- Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
- Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock preparation, and using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
- Operate store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
- Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
- Load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
- Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
- Proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
- Execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
