About The Position

As a Receiver/Stocker, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and prepare your area for daily operations. The role is physical and fast-paced, involves spending most of the shift on your feet, and may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight schedules based on store needs. You may also assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. You will unload freight, move products to the sales floor, maintain organized backrooms and shelves, and keep the workspace clean and safe. Depending on store needs, you may assist customers in locating or loading products. Additional responsibilities in Pro Fulfillment Stores include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders and supporting delivery readiness.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.
Follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; use team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

3 months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
Bilingual, military, and veteran candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering project support.
Unload freight, down-stock merchandise, organize shelves, and set up pallets.
Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to support store operations.
Follow safety procedures for hazardous materials and equipment use, and maintain a clean workspace through proper housekeeping.
Operate store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
Load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
Proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
Execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
