About The Position

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role involves unloading deliveries, moving products to the sales floor, verifying deliveries, preparing the dock, and handling equipment and hazardous materials safely. You may also assist customers with locating or loading products and support fulfillment activities at Pro Fulfillment Stores. This is a physical, fast-paced role that requires safe lifting practices and attention to detail. Associates spend much of their shifts on their feet and may work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight depending on store needs. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor environments, changing or extreme weather, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Single lifts are limited to 75 pounds under the stated guidelines; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker. The listed pay range is $15.00–$16.20. Starting pay may vary based on factors including the position, location, education, training, and experience. Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
Follow safe lifting guidelines, including limiting single lifts to 75 pounds and using team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
Maintain a friendly, professional attitude when helping customers and teammates.

Nice To Haves

Three months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
Bilingual, military, or veteran background is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering project support.
Unload freight, stock merchandise, down-stock products, organize shelves, and set up pallets.
Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and support store operations using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
Operate store equipment such as scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
Assist customers in locating or loading products.
Complete other assigned tasks as a team member.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, load delivery orders using quality, accuracy, and safe-loading practices.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
At Pro Fulfillment Stores, communicate proactively with customers about delivery satisfaction and follow Delivery Readiness best practices.
