About The Position
As a part-time Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The work includes unloading deliveries, safely handling equipment and hazardous materials, and preparing your area for daily operations. It is physical and fast-paced, with most of the shift spent on your feet. Schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight hours depending on store needs. Associates may also assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. The role supports store operations through freight handling, stocking, delivery verification, equipment operation, and housekeeping. At Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging flatbed delivery orders, loading orders, rotating them by delivery date, resolving customer order issues, communicating with customers, and following delivery-readiness practices. Regular travel is not required, although occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Work conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor environments, extreme heat or cold, wet or humid conditions, wind, drafts, noise, and moving or shaking equipment. Associates must follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment must be used with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering project support.
- Unload freight, down-stock merchandise, organize shelves, and set up pallets.
- Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and use pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
- Follow procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Operate store equipment such as scanners, Zebra phones, and balers.
- Assist customers in locating or loading products when needed.
- Complete other assigned tasks as a team player.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage flatbed delivery orders.
- Load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
- Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
- Communicate proactively with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
- Execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
