As a Receiver/Stocker, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, safely handling equipment and hazardous materials, and preparing work areas for daily operations. Scheduling may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs. Associates also assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. For Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional work includes picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading and rotating orders, resolving customer order issues, communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction, and following Delivery Readiness practices. The role may involve working inside and outside in varying weather and climate conditions, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Associates may encounter constant or intermittent noise, moving or shaking objects and equipment, and physically demanding lifting. Single lifts are limited to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment must be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or nearby store support.
