About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a forklift to receive, select, and ship inventory while adhering to required procedures for each function. The role involves neatly and accurately loading trailers with pallets of product, maintaining records, tracking inventory items, and completing shipping and receiving documents. The Receiver/Shipper is also responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions, damage to product, equipment, or the facility, and completing all required paperwork. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Pre-Op Inspection Guidelines
• Must demonstrate safe working habits
• Must be able to define problems, utilize logic and draw conclusions
• Must be able to lift in excess of 75 pounds
• Must be able to work under stressful situations
• Must be able to accept change in an effort towards continuous improvement
• Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have good human relation skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member)
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays and extended periods of time
• Ability to withstand repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, walking, standing and sitting
• Ability to organize, prioritize and work under deadline constraints
• Must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
• Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
• Must show enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work
