About The Position

A Receiver/Loader is required to unload and load incoming and outgoing trailers by following standard operating procedures (SOP) which may include, sorting, palletizing, and moving product. The role involves meeting minimum standards and accuracy standards, as well as delivery deadlines, while maintaining a safe, neat, and clean work area in adherence to SanMar safety regulations. The position requires the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a high-demand, high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
  • Basic math skills in counting and quantity required
  • Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require
  • Ability to work efficiently, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines
  • Able to work both independently and within a team
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comprehends verbal and written instructions
  • Essential days or overtime may be required
  • May need to complete and maintain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification every three years
  • Basic English literacy is required for operation of machines and necessary daily paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
  • May use electric Power Jack to move pallets and/or product as needed.
  • Ability to work with and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers.
  • Meet minimum standards and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
  • Maintain safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to SanMar safety regulations.
