About The Position

The Facility position at the Student Recreation Center plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive environment for all students, members, and guests. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, enforcing facility rules and policies, and providing excellent customer service to all patrons.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working within a gym or recreation center is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Regularly clean and sanitize fitness equipment throughout the Student Recreation Center.
• Inspect equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and equipment is in working order.
• Monitor facility usage to ensure all students, members, and guests adhere to posted rules and policies.
• Address and resolve any rule violations in a professional and respectful manner.
• Assist in any safety and emergency protocols.
• Assist students, members, and guests with questions, providing information about the facility, equipment, and programs offered.
• Help resolve any customer complaints or concerns respectfully.
