About The Position

Openwork is currently assisting a leading service provider in their search for a Rebuilder for North Austin. In this role, you will be responsible for refurbishing commercial dish machines and related equipment in a warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and working with tools in a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
3+ years of experience in assembly, warehouse, general labor, manufacturing, OR technician roles required.
MUST be comfortable working with power and hand tools daily.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

Refurbishing commercial dishwashers and equipment to company standards.
Disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling machine components.
Using power and hand tools safely and effectively throughout the rebuilding process.
Inspecting equipment and identifying worn or damaged parts for replacement.
Testing refurbished equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assisting with warehouse operations and equipment movement as needed.
Following safety procedures and company operating standards.
Supporting team members and additional branch operations when required.
