The LEO Office of Human Resources is looking for a new team member to join a group of service-minded individuals who support the many bureaus and activities within the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity. This position will serve as the department’s Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator (RAC), act as a liaison with the Disability Management Office, and assist the HR Director with special projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of laws related to accommodations, medical leaves, and other related protections. They should be able to explore and consider accommodations for LEO employees and management that meet operational requirements and provide effective solutions. The ability to effectively analyze medical documentation, position descriptions, and other relevant information when making decisions is crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
