About The Position

Waste Connections is hiring experienced, safety-focused CDL Drivers for our Altamonte Springs location, serving the greater Orlando area. This role involves safely operating a garbage truck on assigned routes, following route sheets or dispatcher instructions, and loading, transporting, and dumping waste at designated sites. The driver will also perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain a clean and safe vehicle, and provide excellent service to residential and commercial customers.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL License
• Clean Driving Record
• 1+ year of local route driving experience
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in all conditions
• Strong work ethic & team player attitude

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Garbage Truck on assigned routes
• Follow route sheets or dispatcher instructions
• Load, transport, and dump waste at designated sites
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, safety equipment)
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Provide excellent service to Residential and Commercial customers
