About The Position
Waste Connections is seeking motivated individuals passionate about driving and career growth to join our team as Commercial Drivers (Garbage Truck Drivers) at our Altamonte Springs, FL location. This full-time, year-round position involves operating a garbage truck on a specified route, requiring regular heavy lifting and climbing in and out of the truck. The role is responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed, resulting in approximately 50-55 hour work weeks.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL.
- At least 2 years of work experience with a stable work history, preferably in a driver position.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial Front Load Driving experience.
