About The Position

Interstate Waste Services is hiring a Rear Load CDL Driver in Chester, New York. The role involves operating a rear-load truck to collect waste and recycling from customer locations and transporting materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. Drivers perform pre- and post-trip inspections, navigate tight or congested areas, and may be required to perform manual pickup work. The position offers year-round, steady work on local routes, with a 5:00 AM start time and operation of manual and automatic trucks.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Air brake endorsement.
• At least one year of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Clean motor vehicle record and a strong safety record.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds.
• Must meet DOT and physical requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
