About The Position

As a Realty Project Coach on Walmart US’s Realty Execution team, you will own delivery of store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the United States. You are responsible for completing projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep projects on track. The role involves frequent travel to projects, with the associate based out of a home store and traveling to surrounding states or farther as business needs change. Travel can be up to 1,000 miles from home, with time away from home typically 80% of the time or 17–21 days at a time. Mileage is reimbursed and overnight stays are paid for Realty Project Coach roles. The position is primarily overnight, with night shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours. The annual salary range is $60,000 to $110,000, with additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, stock. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area; OR 3 years of experience in one or more of those areas.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to travel frequently, including travel up to 1,000 miles from home and being away from home 80% of the time or for 17–21 days at a time.
Ability to work primarily overnight shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours.
Attend and successfully complete job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

Own execution of projects in assigned stores, including remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables and encourage collaboration among associates.
Resolve concerns involving store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
Communicate project plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders.
Understand project plans and minimize the impact of work on store operations.
Supervise, develop, train, and mentor associates; assign duties, provide recognition, evaluate talent, and identify career paths.
Handle escalations and collaborate with store leadership to keep projects on track.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and support the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Build relationships with key stakeholders, identify business needs, carry out necessary processes, monitor results, recognize improvement opportunities, and adapt to competing demands and organizational changes.
