Realty Project Coach

Walmart•Little Rock, AR

About The Position

As a Realty Project Coach on Walmart US’s Realty Execution team, you will own the delivery of store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the United States. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, address escalations, and work with store leadership to keep projects on track. The position is based out of a home store and requires frequent travel to project locations, potentially in surrounding states or farther away. Travel may be up to 1,000 miles from home, with associates expected to be away from home 80% of the time or for 17–21 days at a time. Travel locations vary with project workload and business needs. Mileage is reimbursed and overnight stays are paid for RPC roles. The role primarily involves overnight work, with night shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours. You will motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables, encourage collaboration, resolve concerns involving store leadership, suppliers, and associates, communicate project plans and changes to stakeholders, and minimize the effect of projects on store operations. You will also supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing contributions, and identifying career paths. The minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field plus one year of relevant experience, or three years of relevant experience without the degree. Relevant areas include project management, space management, store design, operations, and data analysis. A master’s degree in business or a related field, experience leading cross-functional teams, and a Project Management Professional certification are preferred. Reliable transportation is required, as is successful completion of job-required training and assessments. The annual salary range is $60,000 to $110,000. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, stock. Walmart lists benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k), stock purchase, and company-paid life insurance; paid time off and leave programs; short- and long-term disability; company discounts; Military Leave Pay; adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement; and the Live Better U education benefit, subject to eligibility and plan terms.
