About The Position
Now Hiring: Reality Capture Specialist – AEC & Construction Focus. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional who thrives in the fast-paced AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry and has hands-on experience using laser scanning to support construction workflows, BIM coordination, and site documentation. You'll be the boots on the ground and the expert behind the screen—capturing, processing, and delivering high-resolution spatial data that powers smarter, safer construction decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 3D scanning for construction, surveying, or engineering
- Proficiency and/or certification in: CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, AutoCAD, Register 360, Revit
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organization, planning, and project tracking ability
- Able to work independently on job sites and adapt to dynamic construction environments
Responsibilities
- Perform 3D laser scanning on active construction sites and in the office using advanced tools and workflows
- Post-process scan data to create usable deliverables such as point clouds, floor plans, and BIM models
- Train and support clients on platforms like CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, AutoCAD, Register 360, and Revit
- Generate professional project reports and maintain detailed documentation
- Manage and maintain scanning equipment inventory and conduct regular equipment maintenance
- Inspect scan results and final outputs to ensure they meet construction-grade quality standards
- Prioritize and log jobs according to project schedules, site constraints, and deliverable deadlines
