The Engineering Applications Department (EAD) is seeking a Real-time Launch Operations Software and Data Engineer to develop next generation software products and integrated enterprise capabilities that provide mission support through real-time processing and archiving of launch vehicle telemetry data. You will be a member of a team building a scalable ingestion and processing data pipeline architecture. EAD supports pre-launch, day-of-launch, sub-system, and major system tests for the Atlas V, Vulcan, Blue Origin New Glenn, and SpaceX Falcon launch vehicles as a component of the Spacelift Telemetry Acquisition and Reporting System (STARS). STARS is a mission critical capability used to certify the launch readiness of DoD and NRO space systems. ISCD staff leverage cutting-edge information system technologies, including elastic compute clouds, containerization, microservices, real-time operating systems, and advanced visualization frameworks, combined with expertise in software architecture, AI, and cybersecurity to deliver high-performance systems to our Intelligence Community, DoD, and civilian customers. You will work closely with software engineers and launch vehicle analysts to engineer innovative solutions to meet our customer needs.
