About The Position

Join our innovative team at L&T Technology Services as a Real-Time Communication Engineer and play a pivotal role architecting and evolving the core audio and video communication infrastructure powering our Connected Care ecosystem. You will design, scale, and optimize real-time SIP routing platforms, ensuring industry-leading reliability and performance. Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with real-time voice and video communication systems.
• Hands-on expertise with SIP and telecommunications protocols.
• Proven ability in deploying, operating, and maintaining VoIP platforms in production.
• Production experience with Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, or similar SIP/media routing platforms.
• Backend development with .NET or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Strong networking knowledge; adept at troubleshooting signaling, media delivery, and routing issues.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
• Effective communicator and collaborator across teams.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced experience with large-scale SIP environments.
• Exposure to cloud-based media server solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for media infrastructure.
• Prior experience mentoring technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain robust audio/video communication platforms for real-time connectivity.
• Design, operate, and scale SIP routing systems, media servers, and Session Border Controllers.
• Build intelligent, low-latency call routing solutions to ensure seamless communication experiences.
• Integrate voice and video capabilities into applications by collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to media quality, packet loss, latency, and network performance.
• Establish and drive best practices for voice and video infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and serve as a subject matter expert in real-time communication technologies.
