About The Position

Requirements

  • One year as an Engineering Technician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of technical real estate experience and an associate degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Possession of an active Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with property owners and representatives regarding acquisitions, relocations, and settlements
  • Gather tax maps, deeds, and related records, as well as verify property lines in the field
  • Prepare notifications, offers, photos, and required records to support project schedules
  • Maintain files, court documents, and reports for acquisitions, condemnations, and settlements
  • Review appraisal reports and explain offers, benefits, and procedures to claimants
  • Work with attorneys, claimants, and other agencies to complete required right-of-way actions
