As a Real Estate Summer Analyst Intern with Hines, you will gain hands-on experience by working with an assigned team specializing in specific functions within the Commercial Real Estate Investment Management and/or Development. You will assist with the underwriting and lease analysis of new projects and asset management of operating properties. You will provide research support and assistance by gathering data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market, and new developments and inputs data into appropriate databases. Possible assignments include new development projects, acquisitions and dispositions, and asset management. You will work on Hines’s top-quality assets with daily exposure to highly seasoned real estate professionals. You will contribute meaningfully to processes and decisions that impact Hines’ world-renowned properties through market research, due diligence, financial analysis, and a range of other responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Students from any academic discipline will be considered; however, a strong math and quantitative aptitude is required.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Ability to prioritize/coordinate multiple projects.
  • Current Sophomores and Juniors will be considered along with Seniors who will be immediately entering a graduate program.

Nice To Haves

  • Argus experience a plus, but not required.
