The preferred location is Plainfield, IN OR Cincinnati, OH; however, this position will be covering the Midwest and can be located at any Duke Energy location that can cover this region. The exact location will be determined at the time of offer based on business needs. Job Summary The Real Estate Project Manager II is responsible for the development and management of the facility capital plan, project development, and project execution oversight of the assigned region (Midwest – Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky). This role requires strategic partnership across Real Estate teams and Business Units (BU) from across the company to identify opportunities, evaluate options, and gain approval for strategic projects from senior leadership. The position also oversees the capital infrastructure replacement program and execution. The position will engage with strategic partners outside of Duke Energy for a variety of services needed to execute the capital plan and facility strategy. The scope of the Midwest portfolio includes Duke Energy Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky facility assets ranging from corporate class A structures to operations centers and other field locations. The PM-II position is responsible for management, or assisting management, of all phases of project planning and execution to ensure project success factors are met. These include but are not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration. The position is typically assigned a portfolio of “White” or “Green” ranked projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Risk-Informed Project Ranking Process. The position is accountable for a portfolio of assigned projects with Low to Moderate levels of risk that impact various levels of the Company, Senior Management or External Agencies. PM-II’s may be assigned projects with specific risk-informed requirements based on specific experience and skill sets. PM-II’s serve as unifying agents providing leadership, decision making, management, guidance, coordination, and control of overall projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of the Company.
