About The Position
The Analyst will support acquisitions and development activities across the full lifecycle of multifamily projects. This role offers direct exposure to senior leadership in a lean, execution-focused environment with the expectation to contribute quickly and take ownership.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, or private equity
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
- Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of real estate finance
- Advanced Excel proficiency (required)
- Ability to build and audit financials models independently with limited oversight
Responsibilities
- Lead underwriting and financial analysis for acquisitions and development opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models (ground-up, value-add, recapitalizations)
- Analyze key metrics including IRR, yield, and sensitivities
- Evaluate new opportunities and support pipeline management
- Support transactions from initial evaluation through closing
- Assist in structuring debt, JV equity, and capital stack
- Prepare investment committee and lender/investor materials
- Coordinate due diligence and third-party reports
- Maintain development budgets and track performance vs. underwriting
- Support lender reporting and key project milestones
- Analyze markets, rent comps, and supply pipeline
- Support sourcing and evaluate new opportunities
