About The Position

Thomas & Webber, PLLC is seeking a full-time Real Estate Closing Attorney to join their Mooresville office. This position is open to newly licensed attorneys or those early in their legal careers. Prior real estate experience is welcome but not required, as the firm is prepared to train the right candidate. The role involves conducting residential and commercial real estate closings, reviewing legal documents, drafting various legal instruments, and communicating with clients and professionals to ensure smooth transactions. The attorney will also participate in training and development, and conduct estate planning client meetings and signings. Requirements

Eagerness to learn a new area of law and put in the work to master it.
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and when speaking with clients and real estate professionals.
Comfortable leading a closing room of 6–8 people with professionalism and warmth.
Attention to detail.
Motivation to find answers independently but willingness to ask questions when needed.
Operates with integrity.
Reliable, responsive, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

Conduct residential and commercial real estate closings with professionalism and care.
Review closing documents, contracts, and title work.
Draft legal documents such as contracts, leases, easements, loan documents, and more.
Communicate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and your teammates to ensure smooth transactions.
Participate in training and development to continually grow your legal skills.
