About The Position

Nelson Mullins is seeking an associate to join its Real Estate group in its Charlotte office. This role involves serving as counsel to national financial institutions, with a focus on real estate finance. The Charlotte office is located downtown and overlooks a bustling metropolitan area. The firm is an AmLaw100 firm with over 1,000 professionals across multiple states.

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of meaningful real estate acquisition, development, and/or finance experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: real estate/construction financing, commercial lending, secondary market transactions, preferred equity, and corporate structures.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the state Bar of North Carolina.
• Submit a cover letter, resume, and a copy of law school transcript.

Responsibilities

• Serve as counsel to national financial institutions.
• Engage in real estate acquisition, development, and/or finance.
• Work with leading financial and lending institutions, public companies, product manufacturers, and healthcare operations.
