Requirements
- One year as a General Real Estate Appraiser (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
- Three years of professional real estate appraisal experience which includes one year appraising all types of real property for public use
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania Certified General Appraiser certification
- Possession of an active motor vehicle license
- Meet the PA residency requirement
Responsibilities
- Evaluate real estate appraisals, machinery, and equipment appraisals submitted for right of way use
- Provide direction to ensure appraisal techniques and requirements are followed
- Determine compensable elements related to property values and estimated damages
- Maintain records, generate monthly reports, and support right of way office needs
- Attend discussions and training sessions related to appraisal practices
- Complete delegated tasks and support additional review activities as needed
