About The Position

InSite Group is a privately held real estate developer focused on high-rise residential, hotel, retail, and mixed-use projects in South Florida. We are expanding our acquisitions and development team as we pursue a growing pipeline of landmark opportunities across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. This is an opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, and help source projects that will shape the region for years to come. We are hiring a relationship-first deal originator with the instincts, presence, and drive to create opportunity. This role is built for someone who knows how to get in front of the right people, build credibility quickly, and turn conversations into actionable pipeline. The Acquisitions Associate will focus on sourcing acquisition opportunities with a primary focus on development sites for high-rise residential and mixed-use projects as well as distress, value-add properties across South Florida. You will spend much of your time in the market, calling on brokers, meeting owners, touring sites, attending events, sourcing and underwriting opportunities, while staying close to the people and information that matter. This is not a pure underwriting role. Your edge should be origination, relationship-building, and commercial judgment, supported by enough analytical fluency to screen opportunities, organize deal information, and help move opportunities through the pipeline.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial brokerage, acquisitions, or a similar deal-driven real estate role
  • A proven ability to build and maintain a pipeline
  • Verifiable experience helping put deals together
  • Strong preference for backgrounds in owner-direct sourcing and off-market deal generation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy, strong presence, and an outgoing, action-oriented style
  • Solid analytic, researching and Excel skills, and disciplined CRM management

  • Local South Florida market relationships are preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Source on-market and off-market opportunities across development sites as well as value-add assets, distressed situations, and portfolio deals
  • Build and deepen relationships with brokers, owners and influential third parties
  • Track pipeline activity in a CRM and maintain a high-quality database of market intelligence and potential opportunities
  • Conduct initial deal screening including zoning, entitlements, site constraints, pricing, comps, and basic feasibility
  • Load relevant deal data into financial models to support early-stage evaluation
  • Partner with leadership and the development team to advance opportunities from first look through pursuit
