About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating a 5-axle truck or trailer truck to transport materials to and from worksites. The position requires performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading materials efficiently, and following designated routes and schedules. Clear communication with dispatch, plant teams, and customers is essential for a smooth workflow. Requirements

Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License is required
Strong commitment to safe driving and compliance with transportation and site protocols
Demonstrated capability to operate heavy trucks and related equipment
Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
Strong judgment and ability to work independently in various conditions
Effective communication and teamwork skills to support collaborative operations
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
