This role involves operating a ready-mix truck to transport concrete within the plant and to production areas, ensuring timely and safe delivery while coordinating with various teams and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Experience preferred but not required.
No CDL required.

Responsibilities

Operate a ready-mix truck with front discharge to transport concrete throughout the precast plant and yard.
Haul and deliver concrete to production areas ensuring proper handling and placement to support casting operations.
Coordinate closely with batch plant operators, production teams, and supervisors to meet production schedules and pour sequences.
Monitor concrete consistency and report any quality concerns to plant personnel.
Safely maneuver vehicles in tight plant environments, around forms, cranes, and active production areas.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with company and DOT requirements.
Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on mixer trucks, buckets, and related equipment to ensure proper operation.
Maintain accurate delivery and inspection records as required.
Immediately report equipment issues, safety hazards, or incidents.
Assist with general plant and yard duties as needed to support operations.
