About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating a 5-axle truck to transport and deliver Ready-Mix Concrete to customer and job sites. The position requires completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and paperwork, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. Effective communication with dispatch and team members is essential to support daily operations, and adherence to all company safety procedures is paramount for maintaining a secure and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to safe driving and compliance with transportation and site protocols
• Demonstrated capability to operate heavy trucks and related equipment
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
• Strong judgment and ability to work independently in various conditions
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to support collaborative operations
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License is required
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
