Requirements

  • Must possess a valid CDL, Class A or B license with air brake endorsement.
  • Vision must be acceptable for day and night driving.
  • Must possess a Real ID for the purposes of accessing military bases
  • If you do not have a Real ID, you must be able to obtain one 30 days from date of hire.
  • Ability to do basic math.
  • High School Diploma / GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
  • Pull or push levers to turn mixer drum and dump contents.
  • Move hand and foot controls to move truck forward and backward to aid in the placement of concrete.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies in accordance with CDL pre-trip guidelines.
  • Use hand tools when necessary.
  • Oil, lubricate, and/or general maintenance of equipment may be required.
  • Knowledge of DOT standards and requirements and adhere to same.
  • Maintain daily log.
  • Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
