This position with Duininck Concrete offers the opportunity to join our portable crew as a trusted ready-mix driver responsible for delivering concrete to construction sites. Must be open to working at various job sites for extended periods (overnight travel required). We provide paid training on how to handle and deliver concrete safely and efficiently to customers. CDL Class A or B required. Must also have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. The Role:

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) required
• Ability to or willingness to learn how to operate and maintain a ready-mix concrete truck.
• Communication skills.
• Comfortable with learning or using GPS.
• Willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Must also have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to transport and deliver concrete to construction sites.
• Follow DOT requirements.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Follow instructions regarding the type and quantity of concrete to be delivered.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any delivery updates or issues.
• Provide customer service by interacting professionally at construction sites.
• Ensure the proper handling and pouring of concrete to prevent spills or damage.
• Maintain clean interior and exterior truck.
• Assist with additional maintenance/cleaning duties in and around the plant location during down time
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
