About The Position

Safely drive and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial, construction and residential projects. This role involves completing pre and post trip inspections on truck equipment, documenting deliveries, and understanding the importance of quality and service. The driver will also be responsible for washing residual concrete from the truck and maintaining a clean appearance, while strictly adhering to Knife River’s operational policies, procedures, and standards. A strong emphasis is placed on assuring all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.

Requirements

• Previous truck driving experience (concrete experience preferred, but not required)
• Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license, clean MVR record and DOT/CDL records.
• Class B minimum requirement, Class A preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. a number of times a day
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights and overtime
• Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to comply with FMCSA regulations, understand traffic signs, communicate with law enforcement, and complete required records

Responsibilities

• Other duties assigned as needed
