About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating a Ready Mix truck to deliver and place construction materials at customer job sites. The driver will conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, load, transport, and unload materials efficiently while following all safety procedures. Professional communication with dispatch, customers, and team members is essential for coordinating deliveries. Maintaining equipment cleanliness and promptly reporting maintenance or safety concerns are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the ability to operate a Ready Mix truck safely and effectively.
Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and responsible equipment operation.
Ability to perform vehicle inspections, complete required paperwork, and follow operating procedures.
Effective communication and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment.
Capability to work independently, adapt to changing job site conditions, and manage delivery schedules.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
