About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating ready-mix concrete trucks to deliver product to customer job sites, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading and discharging concrete, communicating with dispatch and customers, and maintaining accurate delivery records while upholding safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in varied driving and job-site conditions
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Capability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Effective communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Dependability and flexibility to support operational needs and schedules
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

• Safely operate ready-mix concrete trucks to deliver product to customer job sites
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment readiness
• Load, transport, and discharge concrete in accordance with delivery specifications
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers
• Maintain accurate delivery records and uphold safety and quality standards

Benefits

• $26.79 per hour
• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
