About The Position

Reading Tutor – OpenLiteracy Remote | Part-time Contract (1099) | $28/hour | 10-20 hours/week | Start: September 2026 About OpenLiteracy 40% of fourth graders in this country read below grade level. At OpenLiteracy, our mission is to change that, one student at a time. We offer a suite of products and services designed to meet students and educators where they are: a purchasable reading curriculum grounded in the Science of Reading, Tier 2 intervention support for classroom educators, and high-impact, individualized Tier 3 tutoring. We don't just teach reading. We grow readers. We're looking for passionate, certified educators to join our tutoring team and make a real difference in children's literacy outcomes across the country. The Role As an OpenLiteracy tutor, you'll work 1:1 with students in grades K-6 through our secure online platform, using a curriculum designed by our team. No lesson planning required!
