About The Position
This position involves providing targeted, small-group interventions in foundational reading skills, reading comprehension, and mathematical concepts and fluency for students in grades K-6. The tutor will create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment and use diagnostic assessment data to inform lesson planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver targeted, small-group Tier 2 interventions in foundational reading skills, reading comprehension, and mathematical concepts and fluency for students in grades K-6.
- Utilize a variety of research-based instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and confidence.
- Use diagnostic assessment data to inform the planning and delivery of intervention lessons.
