About The Position

As instructed by the Campus Readiness Manager, Readiness Team Leaders lead and work alongside a shift of Readiness Team Members to leverage who they are and what they have been given for the sake of the gospel by minimizing certain distractions to Worship Services and other events on campus, keeping our campus ready for each event.

  • Able to regularly move across the entire Shades campus including stairs and tight spaces
  • Able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Leads shift or task force to complete specific assignments.
  • Serves as advisor to Campus Readiness Manager in matters concerning but not limited to: Morale of Team Members, Work Efficiency, Efficiency of Processes, Adequacy of Equipment, and other matters related to how the Readiness Team completes their work.
  • Serves as working supervisor alongside team members to: Clean interior and exterior areas of the campus with a standard of excellence in line with the expectations of Shades Executive Staff as well as the end user.
  • Arrange all spaces on campus ahead of planned events in accordance with Ministry Area expectations.
  • Maintain all equipment to a standard consistent with operational readiness.
  • Operate assigned equipment in a manner consistent with its design.
  • Maintain all storage facilities assigned to Readiness with attention to detail and order.
  • Examine Shades campus for cleanliness, and report issues promptly.
  • Lock/Unlock doors in accordance with instructions or posted schedule.
  • While working, observe Shades campus for Maintenance/Repair issues and report promptly.
  • Communicate clearly and politely with everyone, including but not limited to: church members, Shades staff, vendors, and visitors on campus.
  • Assist the Campus Maintenance Director on various projects as assigned.
  • Complete other related tasks that benefit Shades as assigned by the Campus Readiness Manager or his supervisors.
