About The Position
This is an open-ended application pool for the Read by Grade 3 (RBG3) Learning Strategist position at Beatty ES. The position is for the 2026-2027 school year. All applications must be submitted electronically. The application pool will close when all positions have been filled. Specific responsibilities can be obtained by contacting the Literacy and Language Development Department. Applicants must complete a three (3) year work history, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work. Required documents must be attached at the time of application for consideration.
Requirements
- Must possess or be able to acquire a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education by the time of appointment.
- Must be certified in the relevant subject area.
- Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as listed on the appropriate position vacancy announcement.
- Completion of a three (3) year work history in the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
- Attachment of required documents at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Provide learning strategies to support the Read by Grade 3 initiative.
- Collaborate with educators to implement literacy programs.
- Monitor student progress in reading development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of literacy interventions.
