About The Position

Reactor Operators focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment. This role involves ensuring equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition, inspecting equipment for replacements or malfunctions, and performing regular maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality. The operator will also provide assistance to junior operators, repair and clean equipment, evaluate equipment performance, and operate industrial vehicles to transfer equipment. Safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation must be followed.

Requirements

Experience with forklifts
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods
Attention to detail and reliable work habits
Basic computer or scanner skills

Responsibilities

Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders
Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing
Ensure that equipment are maintained in good and safe working condition
Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs
Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality
Provide assistance to junior operators in their assigned responsibilities
Repair and clean the equipment when needed
Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements
Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area
Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
