About The Position
Trident Consulting is an award-winning IT/engineering staffing company founded in 2005 and headquartered in San Ramon, CA. We specialize in placing high-quality vetted technology professionals. This is a 12-month contract position for a React Developer located in San Leandro, CA, with a hybrid work model. The role involves developing enterprise web applications using React JS and related technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of HTML (HyperText Markup Language) experience
- 5+ years of JavaScript development experience
- 5+ years of Cascading Style Sheets experience
- 2+ years of experience in developing enterprise web applications using React JS with Redux
- 3+ years of experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1 or a combination of both
- 1+ year of SDL Tridion content management system experience
- Strong expertise in working with Node JS, WebPack and other tools related to React Front End Development
- A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology

- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
- Knowledge and understanding of application and web security
- Knowledge and understanding of technology performance: analysis and tuning for applications
- Experience with Windows or Mac OS-X set up and usage for React JS development
- Experience in unit testing code with JEST / enzyme / Jasmine / Mocha / Chai/ React Testing Library
Responsibilities
- Developing enterprise web applications using React JS
- Utilizing Redux for state management
- Working with Node JS, WebPack, and other React Front End Development tools
- Ensuring compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Gaining experience with SDL Tridion content management system
- Collaborating with other business and functional areas
- Applying knowledge of application and web security
- Analyzing and tuning technology performance for applications
- Setting up and using Windows or Mac OS-X for React JS development
