About The Position

The Reach Truck Operator performs specialized warehouse tasks, including operating a reach truck and other machinery. The role also supports loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, and general warehouse work across departments. Responsibilities

• Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas; operate a forklift, reach truck, or other machinery as needed.
• Receive, count, and record shipment data in the system; compare packing-list information with the merchandise received and prepare merchandise for storage.
• Identify incorrect, short, over, or damaged items and promptly notify a supervisor.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent items from shifting or being damaged during transport.
• Maintain the work area, including keeping it free of trash and ensuring products are in the correct locations.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
• Receive and fill orders for materials and products for installers and subcontractors.
• Perform receiving, stocking, replenishing, picking, shipping, and other assigned duties.
