About The Position

The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for various warehouse operations including putting away and picking palletized units, recording material information, loading and unloading, inventory, and labeling. The role requires operating a stand-up forklift or reach truck, working in extreme cold environments, and adhering to safety protocols. The operator will also be responsible for daily forklift maintenance and battery care.

Requirements

1+ year(s) of experience operating a stand-up forklift or reach truck.
Must be capable of lifting to 70 pounds.
Strong communication skills with the ability to read and speak English.
Must be able and willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Strong Teamwork skills.
Proficient knowledge of English.
Capable of following written and verbal instructions.
Strong resistance to a cold environment.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Complete Daily Forklift Maintenance / Pre-shift Inspection sheet.
Put away palletized units by raising forks for placement into locations (both single and double deep) up to 7 levels high / 500 inches.
Pick palletized units from locations (both single and double deep) up to 7 levels high / 500” and stages for outbound shipment.
Record materials, weight, counts, condition of food items via RF system.
Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Inventory product as needed.
Label, sort, stack, wrap and tie product as needed.
Recharge, maintain, and clean batteries as needed while using appropriate PPE.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
Wear company provided / approved cold weather PPE at all times during warehouse operations.
Conducts operations in a manner which promotes safety.
May perform other duties of Forklift Operator / Utility as directed.
May perform other duties as assigned to fulfill AGILE’S objectives.
