About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating reach trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within our storage facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and the timely fulfillment of orders, directly impacting overall operational productivity. The Reach Truck Operator will be expected to maintain a high standard of safety, adhering strictly to company policies and industry regulations to minimize risks and prevent accidents. This position requires attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience operating reach trucks and familiarity with warehouse management systems will be highly advantageous. Requirements

Valid reach truck operator certification or equivalent training.
Proven experience operating reach trucks or similar warehouse equipment.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret inventory documentation and warehouse layouts.
Physical capability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.

Responsibilities

Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to move products and materials within the warehouse.
Load and unload goods from storage racks and transport them to designated locations.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse processes and meet operational targets.
