About The Position
The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for moving tires through the warehouse, either manually or with the help of lifting equipment and for loading/unloading delivery vehicles. Tires can weigh up to 70 lbs.
Requirements
- Experience operating stand-up lifting equipment and able to operate a reach truck in a competent manner
- Warehouse forklift operator competency card (Reach truck and Order Picker)
- Autonomous and can work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable lifting charges up to 100 lbs
- Experience with an RF Scanner
- Customer-oriented and attention to detail
- Respectful, reliable and committed to health and safety best practices
Responsibilities
- Ensure the reception of tires
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Move products to locations in the warehouse using lifting equipment
- Enter the products in the inventory using a radiofrequency gun
- Inspect and report any anomalies on lifting appliances
- Operate specialized lifting equipment
- Prepare delivery vehicles based on work orders
- Carry out the entry of items into the computerized warehouse management system
- Enter the items into the computerized warehouse management system
- Housekeeping
- All other related tasks
