About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a reach truck to put away and pick palletized units in a warehouse environment. The role involves using an RF system to record material information, loading and unloading materials, performing inventory, and labeling/sorting products. The operator must also maintain equipment, ensure a clean work area, and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate cold weather personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of experience operating a stand-up forklift or reach truck.
• Must be capable of lifting to 70 pounds.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read and speak English.
• Must be able and willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Strong Teamwork skills.
• Proficient knowledge of English.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions.
• Strong resistance to a cold environment.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Complete Daily Forklift Maintenance / Pre-shift Inspection sheet.
• Put away palletized units by raising forks for placement into locations (both single and double deep) up to 7 levels high / 500 inches.
• Pick palletized units from locations (both single and double deep) up to 7 levels high / 500” and stage for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, condition of food items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Inventory product as needed.
• Label, sort, stack, wrap and tie product as needed.
• Recharge, maintain, and clean batteries as needed while using appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Wear company provided / approved cold weather PPE at all times during warehouse operations.
• Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
• Maintain a clean personal work environment.
• May perform other duties of Forklift Operator / Utility as directed.
• May perform other duties as assigned to fulfill AGILE’S objectives.
