About The Position

As a member of the Warehouse team, the Standup Reach Forklift Operator safely moves and tracks inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. This role performs offloading, stocking, selecting, replenishing, and related material-handling activities to support exceptional service and product quality for Core-Mark customers while contributing to a culture of safety and teamwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 1 - 3 Years Related experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and apply general math skills.
• Ability to work reliably from verbal and written instructions.
• Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to learn and use job-related computer programs.
• Ability to obtain required certifications for powered equipment, including forklift operation.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and position up to 10 pounds; frequently lift, carry, and position up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift, carry, and position up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to handle objects, tools, and controls.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and walk continuously.
• Ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, or crawl.
• Ability to operate and/or obtain certification to operate various powered equipment, as required.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying noise levels and potential temperature extremes.

Responsibilities

• Selecting products in accordance with customer orders and delivery sequence.
• Consolidating merchandise into product containers and transferring them to assigned stock locations.
• Directing extraneous inventory to storage area or dry room as applicable.
• Ensuring sufficient quantities of products to accommodate routine and/or special demands.
• Maintaining orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Contributing to the safety and security of the warehouse environment.
• Verifying and scanning proper location of products.
• Monitoring existing stock and transferring items where needed, dependent on circumstances.
• Separating larger units into pick quantities and shelving them properly in pick areas.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned
