Reach Truck Forklift
About The Position
This is a temporary position where the primary responsibility is to operate reach trucks and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. The role involves moving, loading, unloading, stacking, and staging products from various locations within the warehouse. Key tasks include performing receiving and put-away of inbound shipments, picking and transporting product for outbound orders, and utilizing RF scanners or warehouse management systems for inventory processing. Additionally, the position requires inspecting products for damage, reporting shortages or discrepancies, and assisting with shipping and receiving functions such as unloading trucks and verifying merchandise. Daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance issues are also part of the role, along with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, and adhering to all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck forklift (certification preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution setting
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to accuracy and safety

- Assist with shipping and receiving functions including unloading trucks and verifying merchandise.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
